MediSwitch has adopted Telkom’s ViPDial remote dial-up access solution as the company’s preferred method of client connection for the submission of medical claims for clients who do not have dedicated network links to MediSwitch.

The ViP Network uses an Internet Protocol (IP) network with secure tunneling as the backbone allowing MediSwitch to securely connect its analogue and ISDN dial-up users to its resources at the cost of a local call.

Strict user authentication with the issuing of unique ID’s and passwords ensures a high degree of security through the secure tunneling network.

Telkom have committed to a 99.9% network uptime availability allowing MediSwitch to offer virtually uninterrupted connectivity to its clients.
